Do you know what threatened species live on your property?
Unless you live in the very centre of town it’s quite possible you share your property with one or more species threatened with extinction. Knowing what these are can really help you plan your activities and potentially help these species. You can find out more using the Natural Values Atlas, a web-based application which holds mapped records of observations of more than 20 000 of Tasmania’s plants and animals, as well as other natural values such as geology. Come along to our free training sessions at the Glenorchy library, to find out what species might be on your property, and what they might need to survive and flourish.
